using a sewing machine to make stuff is incredibly fun. you should check out http://www.craftster.org/forum/ to give you ideas about stuff to make. they have some really great purse tutorials that i've used lately :)

well, i hadn't read over your whole entry before i made that last comment but i want to warn you that the salem witch trials are not worth it. i went to the exhibit this summer and basically you just sit in a room and listen to the story... the town doesn't offer much excitement. however, i do suggest going to the aquarium in boston because it's pretty freaking awesome. ya know, the one that ben affleck went to on voyage of the mimi. just saying...

i can confirm the greatness of the cupcakes. and you'll have to teach me to sew sometime, because i've tried and tried and think i might truly be a lost cause. and i can't wait to drink and play super scrabble with you!
