First of all let me just say that Renaissance Man is love. This movie totally rocks my socks. It never fails to make me laugh. It was the movie DS Murray had us watch the day of our pizza party at the end of basic. It was filmed at Ft Jackson and we all had so much fun watching it and relaxing. And while I'm on this topic I also have to say, I <3 DS Murray (still)! He was the best DS I could ever have hoped for.
In other news Skype rocks my world almost as much as Renaissance Man. LOL I got to talk to David Michael for like 4 hours last night! And I got to talk to him a lil while between his morning PT and starting work. I love that voice so much. Love him period. He's planning on coming to see me once he's on leave while he's PCSing. He asked me tonight if I would go with him to New Mexico when he leaves from here to go see his family. AWWWW! It would be kinda awesome. A trip with David, meet his family finally, and I'd get to go some place I've never been before! (Hey I've never been to New Mexico before so why not?!) I really want to try to go. I love the idea of getting to travel with David, and I love that he wants to take me to meet his family. Gives me the warm and fuzzies. :D
Since I'm coming off my orders and going back to traditional guard status that means I'm also returning to my civilian job. It seems that there isn't a full time slot as a front register cashier, which is the slot I left. Well since I was MOB'ed they have to give me a full time slot back. So... my boss wants to train me to be a pharmacy tech. Which would put me at full time with a pay raise! WOOHOO! :D Gotta love that!!!
