Paradise Valley AJMBC Youth Camp

Camp was the best year ever! Wow, God's REALLY blessed our Church. =D I wish I could draw a grin, cause text can't nearly express the joy and hope have for my church. =)

This weekend was SO incredibly cool. STP was really fun, but AJMBC is HOME. =) I've grown up in this church since I was born, so when I see growth in this church, it makes me so proud. hmm.. So what kind of things did we do? We went night kanoeing. I went night swimming (in the clean pool though), and there was really fun talent shows. Game night was AWESOME. I had a lot of fun acting and goofing off that first night. Every group had to come up with a machine that we all would act out, and I came up with a slot machine, but then I noticed that Jen's group had something going on just like us, so we decided to switch at the last minute. What a great choice! Christina then comes up with this idea of a Claw Machine. =) So she's the player, I'm the claw, and everyone else is a prize. Our skit becomes a riot. =) Everyone really liked it. First I wandered around and came back, second I tried picking up Karama but I couldn't cause she was too heavy, and on my third try I picked up Alicia and brought her back to Christina. =) It was SO funny. =) Our group also performed Bible freeze frame. That worked really well too. =) We did the one lost sheep from the flock of 10. Oh yeah, and in the end, they made our group play sharades telephone. The phrase was "SUPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY". That was fun. In the end, Christina guessed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY PARTY". =) Umm.. Oh yeah. There was a night at the bon fire when we all shared. That was really emotional. Will shared something and started crying, and that got everyone emotion. It was AWESOME though, and night of just bonding.

God's really blessed our church. We thought we would never own our own building, but look what He's provided now? It's fits us so well. What else? We thought we would never mix the Burmese youth and the English speaking youth, but we are so tight now. Christina is totally steping up to leadership now, and Sharie's been filling leadership roles too. It's not just Jen anymore. It's totally cool. I pray God will continue to bless our church and make it multiply (not necessarily in number, although that too, but especially spiritually). I pray that we'd all grow sprirtually and just grow closer in fellowship.

I don't know how to end this entry any other way except for a big, fat, AMEN. =D
