What a long day...
So I had to wake up early to go to a math tournament today. Completely pointless for me going seeing how I wasn't super sure on any of the ones I answered. I "answered" 25; notice the answered in quotations. I figure that I have a 20% chance of getting it right and if I get one out of five right, then I end up with the same score that I started with. So I might as well guess.
Anyway, I ate at Arby's with Jill and then I went to Chris's for a research paper. It took us 4 hours and 45 minutes to write it. We started typing it on the computer and the intro. is really good. Then we got to the body and we saw that it was really hard to get to 7 pages. So at almost the end of the first page, we decided to write it instead. It looks longer that way and Mrs. Martin doesn't have to know that we didn't do 7 pages. We used several words a billion times like evidence and attract and to be verbs. We were getting so crazy about it at the end cuz we couldn't word what we wanted. Chris's hand needed a break every so often but we finished it! It looks like it's 7 pages so I guess we could have typed it but o well. Oak Island was getting really boring and everything that was intriguing before wasn't anymore. We zoomed through the design of the booby trap real quickly cuz we read about the design so much. Everything else took a lot longer. We didn't even print 3 sources and didn't use 2 so we ended up using 8 sources like we were supposed to. I don't think we put in as many quotes as we needed to and we definitely don't have a long set-in quote yet but we can put that in later. I'm just happy that we finished and what a relief that we're done and that we don't have to worry about it anymore. WOO WOO!
