life through weights (in grams and pounds)
My winter weight pre Christmas: 159 or so lbs
my christmas and 1.5 weeks after: 170 lbs (ouch!)
current weight: 165 lbs
My new road wheelset weight: 1450 grams (w/o skewers, rim tape, tires and tubes)
my roadbike with old wheels: 18.5 lbs
with new wheels: 17.25 lbs
so i saved a pound and a quarter with a more durable wheelset. awesome. now i'll just eventually want to get a pair of tubular zipps (road and track...? fuck i hate/love buying bike stuff)
past weekend: played a show with my still as yet un named band with jason and greg. i'm sure next will be better. and less nerve wracking.
dave's race on sunday. too fucking exhausting. felt good on the climbs, too many sketchy single track descents (especially since i don't mountain bike and i had fucking semi-slicks on the bike).
finally got the spoke wrench to true up jason's rear wheel, glad to get that done for him.
i want more wheels to build up.
finally ate an fish sandwich at armand's. not bad, expensive but pretty good. whaler still wins in my book.
slacked all day with lomax and chris. felt like spring, except for no wall sits.
