Drabble: Envy
I know I said EPL would be here this week, but as you can see it's not. BUT- today was my last day of classes! I only have to take finals next week and I'm FREEEE!
So, to make up for that, I come with a drabble!
Prompt: Envy
Character: Hermia Capp

Most women envied the Capp sisters. They were rich, gorgeous, intelligent, cultured, and descended from royalty. They were princesses, every little girl's dream come true.
But Hermia Capp envied other women as well. Unlike them, she didn't have the option to do whatever she wanted. She wasn't as confident as her sister, as reckless as her cousin, as composed as her aunt. She envied those women who went out and did whatever they wanted and got what they fancied.
Hermia sat in her chair, stared at the clock, and waited.
Things got done for her, that was the way it had always been.
"Ladies *never* get their hands dirty", The Contessa had said. She had prepared Hermia for life as a lady, and had groomed her to be the heiress to the Capp estate.
But she had never prepared Hermia for the waiting.

I am very aware that Juliette is the heiress of the Capp Estate. I won't say more, but you'll see in EPL... eventually.
