Productive? You Betcha!

Hehe, I strayed away from using random song lyrics as a title. But that's okay.

Anyway, I have been rather productive. The skin blends are going well (finally),. I think I achieved a nice balance of cartoony and realistic. (60% Cartoony, 40% realistic). AND, I put my edited Phobia eyes on the skin, I can't wait to switch them and delete the Lyran ( Read more... )

I'm with you on the consistent eyes. I need things to match.

I'm not sure about changing Pixel's alien eyes. I still like the solid black, but I like Phobia's too... I'm conflicted. :P

I know, it bothers me when things are out of place.

I KNOW RIGHT? I love Pixel's eyes, but I like these because they're consistent with the eyes I'm using... I don't know either.

Thay're very similar to Pixel's, really, since she has a similar highlight. I think either of them matches the Phobia eyes pretty well, but I'm just not sure. It's one of those things where I love them when I see them, but then they look odd on my own sims. I guess I'm just really used to Pixel's eyes.

All this talk of Pixel makes me miss her. :(

Yeah, they do. I agree, they look odd, but it's probably because you aren't used to seeing them yet.

Yeah, whatever happened to her? She used to be such a presence in the community, and then she just vanished. It was odd.

I have no idea. She stopped playing the game, but she was going to stick around and pop in here and there, but then she just stopped posting. I even sent her a PM to see what she was up to, but I didn't get anything in return. I hope she's alright... I get a little nervous about things like that, but maybe she just wanted to make a clean break. I can understand that.

Still... she was one of the people I really felt like I connnected with in this community, and I'm very sad to see her go like that.

Aww, that sucks. I tend to worry about people if they don't post in a couple of weeks, so the disappearance would have shattered my nerves.

I totally get it. As corny as it sounds, if you were to just disappear I would miss you too. :)

Hey, maybe it's corny, but I feel the same way. :)

I was going to mention you, Doey and Van, but the comment didn't make any sense. :D

I'm so the token "old fart" in this group. :P Not that you can really tell, or anything... I resist becoming a "real" grown up.

who's youngest? is it me? I'm the youngest in the HA! fandom or at least of the really active members I am. Everyone else is about mid-twenties to early fifties.

I think Doey is about your age. And Josh is... just a little older, I think? (Correct me if I'm wrong... fill me in, Josh.)

Oooh, mid-twenties. Scary. :P Please tell me you don't actually think that's old. I've just tip-toed into *DUN DUN DUN* my late twenties. D:

Once I hit legal age, the rest is a blur, really (and not just because I was drunk the whole time *snicker*). Time goes by so quickly, and you hardly notice it after you've stopped waiting to reach a certain age.

Nah, I don't think you're old. Maybe once you hit your forties I'll start making fun of ya. :P

HA! fandom has actually kind of changed a lot of my idea of what's 'old'. I can have really awesome conversations with people 20+ years older than me. And I'm like that to a point in real life too - I get along well with people who are much older than I am. I just look so nice I think. My mom gives off a similar sort of vibe. We always joke about how we have big: "TALK TO ME" signs on our foreheads, because we ALWAYS end up being engaged in conversation with random strangers.

Oh god, that whole time speeding up thing scares me so much. It is already much too fast. I like moving slowly (usually)!

It's funny, because 40 isn't even that old to me anymore. One of my Aunts is over 40 now, and she still acts (and dresses) like she's in her 20s. Age is so flexible these days, and it's even more so on the internet, where surface details are invisible ( ... )

I thought Doey was the youngest? I'm turning 28 in like seven days, which is awesome.

Naw, I don't think you're old. I don't consider people old until they're 55+. 50 *is* the new forty, after all. :P

Is she 19? I think Alyssa and Doey are pretty close to the same age.

As are we, apparently. :D I had no idea. I thought you were a little younger, which just goes to show that unless someone says so, it's hard to tell. You're actually a little older than me (I turn 28 in April), so now you're the ~old fart~. :P

When's your birthday? I might have to make you a little something for that.

I agree. People aren't following the same patterns of aging at all anymore. I know some very youthful people in their 40s, and even 50s. It all depends on the person.
