I was complaining to reccea that the whole serial killer angle really brings down the potential for Rossi/Prentiss rom-com stories, and she said,
"Rossi being stuck in a romcom would be hilarious. Prentiss would handle herself well but Rossi would be like "excuse me but why the fuck does random cute shit keep happening that both makes me run into Emily cutely and also makes it impossible for me to get laid. what IS that??""
So now we are trying to find a rom-com plot to try this out with. We have already ruled out:
Legally Blonde
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days
That One with Hugh Jackman and Ashley Judd
While You Were Sleeping
Can't Buy Me Love
Maid in Manhatten
It could totally carry elements of When Harry Met Sally, but the plotline goes awry when they try to set up Marie and Jess with each other and fail. Help? ETA: Even just list rom-coms I'm not thinking of. I feel that I must have dozens on my DVD shelf and yet I can't think of any.
It's such a shame I can't finish this before Valentine's Day. Rossi has a lot to say on the subject of rom-coms....
