Not Dead Yet!
The good news is that I can get Imaginary Bar Characters married and divorced. The bad news is that if they have kids, I'm screwed. (Not really. I'll know what to do with their Imaginary Bar Kids before I go to sleep tonight.)
I think possibly I should have started this notecard thing a little earlier.
BarBri sent out a virtual fortunate cookie which, if clicked sufficient times, will assure the reader that their spouse, partner, parents, friends, siblings, children, and pets will still love them in August. I am hoping this is true. My parents have not ventured a phone call since before the July 4th weekend and my cat is over on his cat tree sulking because I won't let him sit on my notebooks.
On the plus side, my sister still seems to love me, and my friends are putting up with a tremendous amount of abuse. (I may or may have not threatened my cubicle-mate at work that I would twist his head off if he left his chair drifting in the middle of our cubby again, and he seems to think that was pretty cool, so maybe it's just that all my friends are insane. I don't know.)
Also, I am moving! To my sister's old house, for those of you who are up on such happenings. So if anyone local wants to come throw books in a box or quiz me on my growing pile of index cards, just holler. The exam is on this coming Tuesday and Wednesday (28th and 29th...my birthday is the 30th), and the move is probably August 1st? I need to rent a truck. As soon as I figure out how to distribute some Imaginary Bar Kids.
