I first latched onto this fic because it was painting a beautiful, even-handed picture of Haley Hotchner and just how difficult it is to play second fiddle to Hotch and how feelings change enough to split apart a couple who had been together for 20 years. And then it went and did something even more stunning. I am loathe to spoil anything so please be sure to note the warnings posted by the author and be aware that some of the subject matter could be triggering. (It's a show about hunting serial killers; if you can watch the show, you should be fine with the fic. Of course, I don't know what you fast forward through, so take it upon advisement that the story is just as adult as the show in most ways.)
In related new, the past two (three, even) episodes of Criminal Minds have made me fannishly gleeful. And just a few months ago, I was voting Rossi off the island...
