"Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore..."

I am pleased to report that I survived all tornadoes and such weather activity the last couple days. I got stuck in the middle of a tour with 30 6th graders, some of whom cried, and their teachers, who were freaking out because they didn't know where the REST of the tour groups were, but for some reason it didn't occur to me that things sucked elsewhere.

Then, the highway in front of my apartment building was closed from both sides for high water, so I had to do some creative backroads driving just to get home.

And then I didn't have electricity for somewhere between 24 and 36 hours. (But closer to 24.)

So now I will be doing all those things that one does when one has electricity. Like reading LJ. And turning on the light to go to the bathroom. :P
