The Spam Never Ends...

First off, I hate fake Crystal Light. I made 2 quarts of it to break up the constant water, but seriously, SO OVER IT. If I get through the rest of this quart, I can order pizza, though. I'm not even sure I want to eat the pizza, but I think smelling it would be awesome. I realize this makes me odd.

Secondly, one of my on-and-off projects is to redo my webpage. I know, I ask about this every so often and then do nothing. But. I finally started messing with one of the backgrounds machinistm made for the John/Cam ficathon.

New Design

1) I had no idea my current webpage was so bad. I mean, I know it is now; link and setup and, well, I should look at it more than once every 6 months, huh? So it's been bumped way up the ranks. The first question is whether I should fix the links on the original one so it doesn't suck quite so hard, or if I should get a move on with the new one.

2) Should the Cam/John setup be the home for the Stargate fic or for the whole thing? I do like the Starmandy thing on the current front page, because while I'm a serial monogamist, fandom-wise, I would feel bad to be abandoning the DCU. But then I'd have to find a DCU background. Which wouldn't actually be that hard or anything, I'm just saying.

3) Does anyone know where I can find an online color picker or a freeware graphics program? My desktop has Photoshop but my laptop doesn't and I'd like to be able to find hex codes for the colors in the background so I can match up a border for the white box and the text.

4) There is a tiny little line of code that lets you set the background so that content will scroll on top of it. While that is way up there with the most annoying features ever, I am hoping that doing that will mean the data in my white box will scroll without scrolling the background and without requiring me to use frames.

Thirdly, my cat is so much fun. He was zooming around earlier, playing with a toy from Christmas, and when it fell off his little cat tree, he propped his chin up on the edge and looked at it and then rolled over and slung his front leg over the edge, John Sheppard-style. I just wish he would be fun with other people around, because I want to SHARE him, but whenever someone comes over, he hides under the bed. *sigh*
