Squee! I love refreshing my flist and finding a new part to one of my favorites WIPs:D

Favorite parts off the top of my head: Ford being so enthusiastically friendly with Rodney, Rodney standing up for Katie when he thought John was a jerk on purpose, Rodney knowing how to make drinks- it just tickled me for some reason, John being a con artist with Rodney's parents, Rodney being totally brave and doing a body shot with Teyla (hey, I learned something!), Laura! Yay Cadman!, and Rodney's football injury. Oh and JOHN STARTING TO REALIZE HE'S ATTRACTED TO RODNEY!!!

I think I found a typo: "What, with the lemon?" John asked, wishing he didn't remember the look on Rodney's face when he's turned away from Teyla.

Shouldn't that be "when he'd turned away"?

Very very very good chapter and I really look forward to the next one!

So much love. John and Rodney seemed so awkward together in the beginning of this (and I was so sad) until the phone call the next morning and suddenly, away from everyone else, they're back to... getting along so weirdly well, and I love the sense that John doesn't even know.

Also -- Rodney mixing drinks. Fixing the blender. Cadman.

*beams* Thank you! It seems to me that Rodney would be perpetually annoying to John's hard-earned cool, but when John forgets to care, Rodney really appeals to his inner geek. :) And poor John is clueless. He's catching on a little, but he has a long way to go.

Bartender!Rodney is fun. :-) I had to google Dirty Girl Scout to figure out what was in it. Thankfully google was nice and the first few hits that showed up were the drink. I don't even want to fathom what probably appeared farther down that list.

Aw, thank you! Laura means well, but as in every other 'verse, she'll be getting Rodney in trouble eventually. ;) *laughs* That's so dangerous. WebTender is the site I use for drinks. It got a lot of use last year.
