I said to reccea last night that I wanted to write something short and have it be finished. (I always get this way when I hit about page 30 of something and realize it's nowhere near done.) And I really have no time and all my other ideas have the potential to spiral into huge epics

I can't remember who first suggested this pairing to me, but once they did, my understanding of the interactions between Weir and Caldwell completely changed :)

Aw, thanks. :) I think it was Conversion, people started talking about how he had a crush on her, and I'm totally on board with that. She has good chemistry with Lorne, too, but I'm totally amused by the way she puts Caldwell in his place.

Also, I totally want to see a story where Rodney pulls the daedalus out of a pocket universe. That sounded completely cool.

There's one major typo in the second paragraph: She knows thinks she know why

Thank you! I always get the feeling he's crushing on Elizabeth and she's crushing on John, and John's willfully oblivious to everything he can get away with. ;) I like the adversarial nature of their interaction - I think it's building some mutual respect and I'd like to see am emergency where they manage to work together. They're both very formidable. This was a very flattering comment - thanks again!
