This is not really fic.

I said to reccea last night that I wanted to write something short and have it be finished. (I always get this way when I hit about page 30 of something and realize it's nowhere near done.) And I really have no time and all my other ideas have the potential to spiral into huge epics ( Read more... )

sga, fic

This is not really fic.
... walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...

Is good. And sweetly done -- pun intended if you'd like, but not necessary. Two adults who know better and are sallying forth anyway.

When it's written directly into the LJ window, it's not really fic. I'll take the pun - my sense of humor is decided low. ;) Thank you.

Awww, cute. And chocolate! Yay!

I can't remember who first suggested this pairing to me, but once they did, my understanding of the interactions between Weir and Caldwell completely changed :)

Aw, thanks. :) I think it was Conversion, people started talking about how he had a crush on her, and I'm totally on board with that. She has good chemistry with Lorne, too, but I'm totally amused by the way she puts Caldwell in his place.

Dude I could totally get behind Weir/Caldwell.:)This was very cute and poor John knows nothing about women (possibly bz he's dating Rodney who will take foodstuffs of almost any kind....)

Also, I totally want to see a story where Rodney pulls the daedalus out of a pocket universe. That sounded completely cool.

There's one major typo in the second paragraph: She knows thinks she know why

But other than that? You should post to the noticeboard. :)(I can do a more thorough beta tonight, if you want.)

You would write a totally cute Weir/Caldwell. :) And of course John is clueless. It's why Rodney's his only hope.

...crap, I'm going to have to write that, aren't I?

Fixed!

Meh, maybe in a mass post with all the flashfics I never told them about. If you want to fix it later.

Look! New icon!

Thank you! I always get the feeling he's crushing on Elizabeth and she's crushing on John, and John's willfully oblivious to everything he can get away with. ;) I like the adversarial nature of their interaction - I think it's building some mutual respect and I'd like to see am emergency where they manage to work together. They're both very formidable. This was a very flattering comment - thanks again!
