Paint progress
Progress report:
Painting is making good progress! I finish all the walls I could reach but my bed is totally in the way and it took like two hours to budge it half a foot... and make a huge dent in the side with a crowbar. Good times. So. Tomorrow, I'm getting up super early and dismantling my over 26 year old bed so my dad can salvage whatever chipboard he wants, finishing the first coat of paint, and getting a new bed from probably Ikea. Which might be insane because isn't there a huge sale at Ikea right now?
And for the record, yes, I have managed to get paint on every single surface in my room that didn't want to be painted, including the ceiling, the carpet, the heating vent, and the back of my old bookcase. So when I show you super professional looking pictures when I finally finish, you can know that some touching up had to be done. I'm not naturally that awesome :P
Also, the paint actually looks pretty close to the color on the website! I was worried in might be drastically darker or lighter or even just completely different. You never can tell with monitors and the sample card certainly was a different shade from the website. But, just so you know, the room samples online are accurate. :)
