Does anyone really get fooled by spam in their email?Not only do people get fooled, I saw a news story about the Nigerian money scam where a guy in the US actually emptied his bank account, flew to Africa and was promptly beaten up and robbed by the scammers. The thing is, the guy's wife pleaded repeatedly with him to not do it including calling the police fraud squad and asking them to speak with him about how it was a scam run by criminals hoping to get access to your bank account or have you send them money directly. I guess the guy thought that if he went in person, it would be legit. This story probably also applies to your musings about whether people are getting dumber or not. LOL
