First I must say congratulations to Lyn and Colin for their fantastic wedding and allowing me to DJ the wonderful event. Lyn you looked great, and Colin well you looked good too. The hangover had very little effect on you.
All the women in the bridal party looked fantastic, but none looked quite as beautiful as my soon to be bride, sorry ladies.
I also found out that I hate the town of Picton and their stupid marathon that nobody seemed to be running in. Screw you Picton, you Listowel wannabe.
DJ'ing with an IPOD is fantastic, so much easier then back in the day with my cd's. Plus the fact that most of people enjoyed good music made my job very enjoyable.
I bought a Harmon Kardon receiver and surround set, and have absolutely no idea how to hook it all up. I thought working at Future Shop would give me the edge in knowing how to hook up all the gadgetery.
So today is my final day off before I have to go back to work from my mini vacation. Sad indeed.
For those that are Radiohead fans, they have just released a free cd on their internet site. You can give them as much as you feel the cd is worth. Very cool idea indeed. As far as my opinion goes. Here's a little mini review.
Sharp music from a band that needs to go back to the roots that made them so successful in the beginning. There are 3 or 4 songs that are dynamite, but the mood of Radiohead can be overwhelming if not enjoyed with something a little lighter. The song Bodysnatchers is by far my favourite and overall I give the CD 6.5/10.
http://www.inrainbows.com/Store/index3.htm Starting watching the show Pushing Daisies, reminds of Wes Anderson meets Tim Burton with the type of story telling that it is. It doesn't compete with Chuck though as far as how good the show is.
Alright I will finally share with you the secret of success of music. These are the two most beautiful songs that have ever been sung.
The Beta Band have one of the soothing sounds in music, everytime I hear this song I start the headbob very close to the one in the movie "High Fidelity" where I first heard the song. The song just makes me feel good.
Also if you haven't seen "High Fidelity" shame on you!!
I do realize of course that Elton John was the original Rocket Man, but even his voice doesn't compete with Jim James voice of My Morning Jacket. This song doesn't really show of the vast talents of the band, but it's an absolute perfect song. The background is Califonication which is a great show in itself.

Anyways it's probably a good idea if I rest now.
