Had a fine weekend, went to Montreal for a buddies stag. Went to see the Canadiens against the Senators which was one of the best hockey games I have seen in quite a while. The final score was 6-5 for the Habs they scored with about 2 mins to go in the third.
The guy that had the stag thrown for him had to wear one of the most terrible outfits that I have ever seen. It was from Zellers and was mean't for kids between the ages of 12-14. The pants left nothing to desire and the shirt looked as if he had been working out for the past 10 years. He also had to wear nylon velcro shoes which made him look one marble short.
We ended up going to a club in Montreal, can't remember the name of it, but it wasn't too bad. We had out own private area and had two 40oz of booze, one of vodka, one of rye. And the red bulls were flowing a plenty as well. It got a little messy by the end of the night. The club was playing mostly old beastie boys, Beck, and some filthy 70's disco funk. All in all a very good evening.
Train ride back was a little rough due to lack of sleep and lack of anything in my body other then alcohol. Arrived home at about 7 or so, watched the Amazing Race which Sara was very excited about being that they were in Nam.
One thing I realized while in Montreal is that I can't speak french worth a damn, and that most people in Montreal are very polite. The crowd at the Bell Centre was fantastic, in Toronto you get the coorperate dudes and they are just there cause they have money, but in Montreal it's the love of the game that brings them out, this makes it a very enjoyable experience. Montreal was a fantastic place to party even though we didn't get to see all that much of it.
