So, here I sit. How exciting. I suppose things are going well... I'm freaking tired, I didn't get home to five, but all in all, it was worth it. Sith was not horrible, but neither was it good. In the words of Kevin Smith, "It was as good as the worst one from the original trilogy". But that’s really all that's going here... just bored and tired. I watched that last night, and of course, I had it go down on me. I had to cut 3 frames out, and a few more are a little f'ed, but they don't look scratched (P.S. - three frames is approximately .125 seconds of the movie, the human mind cannot see that little difference). Anyway, it wasn't my fault and I will say that till I die. It was in the middle of the reel #6, so, it wasn't my splicing nor was it my threading (cause by this point 3/4 of the movie is over) I think it was static and the pieces got stuck and brought multiple pieces into the brain. I got lucky though, it snapped so it didn't cause huge problems with the film other than the place it snapped and the single frame that burned. So, I think everything will be ok. Anyway, the movie wasn't horrible, but always could have been better. Maybe it was because I was expecting more from it. I don't know... But everyone, it is worth at least the first viewing... So go see it. He did do a good job setting up things for a New Hope. That I liked.
Any who... what else. So I finally got into that computer science for engineers, which is good. I also signed up for an Electrical Engineering course next semester, but it is like Mon and Wed at 7ish, so I may drop that before final registration. We shall see. I did ok this semester by the way. It was exciting, I'm glad to be doing better, it makes me feel good. I can’t wait till this semester. I need to contact some professors, and see if anyone needs a research assistant. I won't be working at the theater, which is extremely nice. The money is, but I can't go on working the hours I do, plus I have an 8 am every morning. That is going to suck, but it math. Which I hear is much, much easier than the first two calc classes, which is good. I don't suck at math, but I get confused jumping around so much like you do in 140 and 141.
Oh, and in other news, Jason left this morning. I know he is an ass to most people, but I will miss him, and I wish him the best of luck, he has a long time ahead of him, but I think he will do ok, after he gets his ass kicked once or twice. I think it is funny that I could be friends with him so long, but at heart, he really is an ok guy, I just didn't understand the way he acted when he was around other people. Anyway, enough on that. I think I may catch some Z's here soon. I am really tired, but that's all for now.
I ain't no politician
I am a citizen
And I wonder if I'm living too far out of bounds
Community protection
Rehabilitation
Police that serve without legitimate right to maim
Global awareness
Ecological guilt
Cultural and environmental awakening
I ain't no optimist
I try to be a realist
and I think that we are living too far out of bounds
is it too much to ask?
Could it be the world is shrinking?
I can see the walls closing in
No one can take much for granted anymore
Remote control
Three cars for every family
Corruption at the expense of the simple majority
A violent crash
A plunder of the third world
Any wretched ploy that bolsters our economy
I ain't no blind supporter
I'm a conscious citizen
and I know that we are living too far out of bounds
is it too much to ask?
Can we keep the earth from sinking?
I can see the walls closing in
No one can take much for granted anymore
