Title: Hug Me
Genre+Rating: Romance, Humor; G
Pairing: Sungmin and Reader
Summary: When the two clashes, everything goes wrong.
Told from 3rd Person POV (No One's POV; Author's)
------- and Sungmin had been enemies ever since they collided with each other on the first day of school, though no one knows why. All they know is that they never get along. Unlike most boys, Sungmin had a fetish for pink things, hugs, and bunnies. -------, on the other hand, was different from other girls. Basically, she was a tomboy. She loved sports and dogs.
When the two clashes, everything goes wrong.
Sungmin swung his head from side to side, observing the hallway. He wore a sign draped around his neck labeled with huge, childish handwriting: Free Hugs Here!
Several students passed by wordlessly. Others stared, pointed at him, giggled, and pranced away. From a distance, ------- emerged from the cafeteria and approached him with a sweet smile. The previous glare he had sent her instantly vanished. "Hi, Sungmin." Something in his heart leaped at those two words.
"H-Hey," he deadpanned, his voice slightly squeaking. His palms were suddenly dripping with sweat. Am I sick? What is wrong with me?
"I'll give you a hug," she prompted, reaching ahead with outstretched arms. Before he could respond, she enveloped him in a hug.
She smells like strawberries... he thought.
"You're welcome," she sing-songed, skipping away with a smile playing on her lips.
Sungmin removed the sign and clutched his hands to his chest, trying to calm his rapidly beating heart. "What just happened?"
Too caught up in his thoughts, he didn't notice the snickers coming from several passer-byes. Maybe it was because he kept swooning every time he was reminded of the physical contact. OR maybe it was the sign taped to his back that read, I'm gay.
