Random QMi Drabbles
“The cookies are ready!”
Kyuhyun and Zhou Mi glared at each other before dashing off toward the kitchen. They both wanted to be the first one to get a bite of Ryeowook’s homemade cookies. “Hey, MiMi?”
“Yes, Kui Xian?”
“Your shoelace is untied.”
Zhou Mi skidded to a halt. “Oh. Why thank you - hey wait a minute! I’m wearing socks! Kui Xian, you meanie!”

“Harder! Faster! Go MiMi, go!” cried Kyuhyun. “Whee!”
Zhou Mi grunted, panting, “You’re heavy, Kui Xian.”
“You should really try this sometime, you know. It feels good. Faster! Harder!” Kyuhyun continued, undeterred.
Zhou Mi nodded feebly. “At least I won’t have to be the one who’s doing the work.”
“Oh my god, MiMi! I’m going to” - Kyuhyun flew off from the swing - “fall. You didn’t have to push me that hard, you know.”
“My turn on the swing!”

Zhou Mi, recently, has had a fetish for butterflies. “Don’t you think they symbolize life?”
“How?” Kyuhyun never really understood the concept of poetry, and this was no exception.
“They’re delicate and we’re unable to control them, right?”
“I don’t get how you make these comparisons.”
Zhou Mi thought for a while. “Wouldn’t you say our love is like the sun?”
“In what ways?”
“It’s bright. It makes me happy. It makes you happy...”
Kyuhyun finally grasped the idea. “Oh! And it’s burning hot?” He raised his eyebrows suggestively.
“Let’s not go there.”
