A two for one, as I couldn't get near a computer yesterday. (Warning: this gets loooong!)
Day 05 - A show you hate
Do cartoons count? Nothing gets my goat like Spongebob Squarepants. I don't know what it is about this show, but it makes me see red. The theme song irritates the crap out of me, the characters voices make me want to throw something at the tv, the stories... well, I don't know, I've never made it through a whole episode. God, I'm getting annoyed even thinking about the damn programme.
Oh, and I hate the colour yellow, so maybe that has something to do with it!
Day 06 - Favorite episode of your favorite TV show
Going on the basis that Buffy is my favourite TV show... well, I have a list (in chronological order):
Season One:
1. The Witch - I found this episode really creepy. Particularly the last shot of Amy's mother stuck in that statue. Still gives me shivers!
2. The Pack - Xander was a totally different character in this ep. The part when he's chasing Willow through the school was seriously scary.
3. Angel - The reasons I love this episode are so obvious I won't even go into detail.
4. Out of Mind, Out of Sight - A girl is so ignored she turns invisible. Totally eerie, particularly the end shot of her being brought somewhere with a whole lot of other people with the same problem.
5. Prophecy Girl - The season finale. I loved so much about this ep. The dispatching of the Master, Angel's inability to save her so Xander stepping in, the white dress with the black leather coat... the crossbow!
Season Two:
1. School Hard - Spike and Dru when they were awesome. Plus, the whole "fire hydrant" bit still cracks me up.
2. Halloween - Buffy's dress, the hilarity of it all, the making out and Oz's line "who IS that girl?
3. Suprise/Innocence - The first time BtVS broke my heart. I still well up at the memory. Although, Angelus was hot. And I have much love for the rocket launcher. Ooh yus!
4. Passion - Spike's speech on what passion is. The bit where Angelus kills Jenny. So totally, completely unexpected, it took my breath away.
5. Killed by Death - creepy. as. fuck. -> EPIC!
6. I Only Have Eyes For You - The scene with Buffy & Angelus being possessed is excellently acted, and the look of horror when he comes back to himself made me giggle.
7. Becoming Pt 2 - Destroyed me. I think I cried a years worth of tears on that ep. I've only ever watched it once, because I don't think I could handle it again. Sad, but true!
Season Three:
1. Faith, Hope and Trick - Mr Trick was an awesome villan, we had an introduction to Faith, Angel reappeared naked and the bad guy of the week was totally disgusting. Good times.
2. Band Candy - Giles as Ripper, Giles/Joyce, general adults-as-teenagers hilarity.
3. The Wish - I love it when shows do alternate universes. Vamp Xander and Willow are awesome and the end scene where everybody is being killed is all kinds of epic.
4. Amends - Oh oh the end scene where Angel goes to walk out in the sun but the sun doesn't rise and it snows and it's a miracle and I love it.
5. The Zeppo - because Xander saves the world and nobody knows it.
6. Dopplegangland - Have I mentioned my love of Vamp Willow? So many funny scenes in this ep. Like the whole "Willow's been turned" scene, and the "I think I'm kinda gay".
7. Enemies - simply for the scene where "Angelus" and Faith have Buffy tied up and it's all a big fake out. Love it.
8. Earshot - because that was the first time I realised telekinesis might not be the most awesome superpower ever. Also, much hilarity, and some poignant moments. Aaaaand I read a fic where Buffy had to run away with Angel 'cause of the voices, and she couldn't hear his thoughts but could hear Angelus's and it was awesome.
Seasons Four - Seven
1. Fear Itself - loved Oz's "God" costume and the "big" reveal of the demon towards the end.
2. Something Blue - because it was hysterical. Loved Xander being a demon magnet and the Buffy/Spike ness (oh how I laughed at the idea that would ever happen... and then it did. Grr)
3. Hush - spooky demon/ghost children freak me out. As did the Gentlemen.
4. Superstar - 'cause Jonathan (and Andrew) were the only things I really liked about the latter seasons.
5. The Yoko Factor - solely for Angel kicking Riley's ass.
6. Once More With Feeling - Giles and Tara sing beautifully together. I loved all the numbers and the snippets of numbers (they got. the mustard. ouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut!), just all around epic episode.
7. Normal Again - totally creeped me out. Especially the last scene where she's chained to the bed. 'Cause, like, what if you were a Vampire Slayer. Wouldn't you wonder if you were looney tunes?
8. Storyteller - I love Andrew, I do. I loved the progression of the episode, from Andrew telling obvious porkies about things, to his admission at the end that he probably deserves to die.
