A Quick Post #16: Dan Green lost his wife in childbirth.
I swear to whatever God possibly exists I am tearing up right now. This is some of the most terrible news I've heard all year.
For those of you who don't know him, Dan Green is a pretty famous voice actor for numerous anime that have been dubbed over here in the States. He voiced Yugi and Yami/Atem from YuGiOh!, Knuckles and Mephiles from the Sonic the Hedgehog anime and games, many different characters from Poke'mon, and dozens of other roles. He's a great guy all around and his performances got me through some of the worst days of my life. (He's by far my favorite voice actor of all time; it doesn't matter if he worked for one of the worst dubbing companies in America, dammit.)

Over Thanksgiving, Dan's beautiful wife and fellow voice actress gave birth to their twins, a boy and a girl, and lost her life due to complications with the delivery. Dan's fellow voice actor Mike Pollock has a page up for them here where you can leave condolences and/or a donation to help Dan with his new babies. If you're a fan of his work, I urge you to visit it and leave a comment, even if you can't donate. No one ever deserves to go through this, least of all him.
