Yesterday as D & I were coming into our building, returning from school, D was looking at something/someone on the other entrance and said, "she is carrying a big box all by herself! It's too big! Help!"
I looked up to see, sure enough, there was Michelle, our UPS lady bringing in a big box on their usual trolley along with a few other small boxes. I went over to help keep the door open. I shared with her my daughter's thoughts and she laughed sweetly and thanked her for her sympathies.
Our building doesn't have a ramp either. She couldn't use my help, as if I dropped something, well, she would be responsible still!
As we were waiting for the elevator, I noticed that big box was laying on the side it shouldn't have been, big words saying "team-work to carry", graphics too on how it needs two people to carry it. And yet, here she is by herself doing deliveries.
I wish her good health and a strong back! As Christmas is coming around the corner, her life will only get busier! And she will be carrying around boxes that are supposed to need more than one person to carry! Crazy world.
