I really am married!

So says the mangalasutra around my neck, the ring on my left hand, the toe rings, and the bindi on my forehead. And yet it feels like it's a dream. Hubby & I still find each other looking at each other in disbelief that we are married. I feel like someone is going to pinch me and am going to wake up and it was just all a dream.

Hubby has been pinching me a few times to ensure that I am not living in a dream. We have been having a very good time together at home in Bangalore, in the forests of Mudumalai (Tamil Nadu), on the roads of Ooty, at the hillsides of Kohnoor, on the roads of Chennai, at home in Pondicherry, in the ambience of many temples in Tamil Nadu, in the busy hustle-bustle of Mumbai and finally reaching the new home in Arlington, Virginia.

Yes, the visa process went well. I waited in queue for three hours and the interview finished in two minutes. The interviewer looked my age if not younger, and felt like we were long lost friends! To whomever shared horror stories, I have a few things to settle with you!!

Hubby is back at office and the day is mine to kill. The apartment is in a big mess with all the semi unpacked things. N has been wonderful in trying to make me feel comfortable here. The detail to which he thinks about is just purely amazing and amusing! I truly appreciate it.

It feels so unreal and yet so real! I am happy!
