so it's been a hectic week. A week I rather not remember. But the coming 14 days will be packed with only two days (Monday & Thursday) as holidays!! Yes, in the next 14 days, I only get two days rest! sigh.

Okay, now that is a very fetching icon. How I love to see smiles and laughter! And you have a gorgeous smile! (and, apparently, a similar laugh :-) I'm bummed it didn't work out to meet you in person while I was in India, but someday! Especially if you head out to the Eastern US - I seem to know a growing number of people in that area. :-)

Your comment reminds me of once, years ago, when I took a homeless guy to dinner in Duesseldorf. We ate together, chatted a bit. I think he liked the company as much as the food. (And no, it wasn't an original idea of mine - I swiped it from the movie "Groundhog Day" :-). But as I'm heading back to Duesseldorf tomorrow, maybe it's time to do that again. 'Twas definitely an eye-opener for me, that conversation. A reminder that everybody has their own lives, their own hopes, their own fears... and makes their own choices. Including, for this guy, the choice to live out on the street.

(I'll pass on the favorite icon bit. Maybe later, when my account is again paid, and I get back the rest of my icons. :-P Also, if I don't post this meme in my journal as I promised when I get back from Germany, kick me to remind me. ;-)
