Go me.
Well after a few days of wandering around the site, reading the updated news and FAQ's, I think I'm finally getting the hang of the new LiveJournal stuff. I went through and weeded out old entries, changed my user pics up some, and edited my friends list just how I need it to be. Good thing I'm still waiting for my job to start or else I wouldnt have all this free time to do important things like this! ;-)
Speaking of me being bored to death until my new job starts next Monday...I stumbled across a community about Sex & The City. It reminded me how much I loved the show and I was shocked to realize I had forgotten about the DVD's I bought earlier this year. I perched on eBay for weeks trying to track down every season on DVD and I finally have them all. I think I may spend the rest of my "vacation" watching it from beginning to end (amazingly enough, I still havent seen the last season). Do you all ever watch "marathons" of shows or movies like that? I always thought the phenomenon where you get immersed in shows is so amazing. Even if it's a small marathon on cable, once I walk away from the show I still wonder about the characters - at the worst, thinking of them like friends ("I wonder how that meeting went for Miranda at work today?").
Then again...Maybe it's just me. :)
