Author's Notes: For Ragna, from way back when. She asked for a scene set after this fic, what Maka was thinking as she walked out of the gym.
She waved goodbye to Charlie and Thacker as she headed into the women's locker room. Angell popped over while she was grabbing her towel and changing, and they spent a couple minutes discussing Danny's completely obvious thing for Monroe before Jen had to get back to work. Maka headed for the showers, humming the song that had been stuck in her head all day as she fiddled with the water temperature.
She stood under the shower for a long minute or two, just letting the water run, waiting for her hands to stop shaking.
It wasn't even like no one had ever asked about the scar before. Every man who'd had the good fortune to get her top off in the last five hears had asked about it, it was that hard not to notice. Hell, Danny knew about it. Stella knew. In his omnipresent, Wizard-of-Oz way, Mac probably even knew the story.
So why the Hell, she frowned, did it freak her out so much that Don knew?
