New Idol
Okay, so, Khia was a little short-lived. While she certainly had the spice, there wasn't enough of it to go around. One can only lick pussy and crack for so long before the desire for new, exciting things begins to develop.
So, I've completely fallen in love with Janelle Monae. This isn't even snarky love this time. She's an amazingly talented lil black girl from Kentucky who has an album, I kid you not, about a cyborg girl running from robot hunters who want to destroy her for falling in love with a human. She's all about social action and making the world better and it's done so not lamely that even jaded me loves it. It's called Sincerely, Jane and it is the coolest mix of tango, 50's soul, modern production and an epic orchestra background track. I lovelovelove it. Ya, just had to get this new obsession out of my system.
