Interviews...

I know I haven't posted on here in a while, but I've been very busy...work, looking for a full-time job, some wedding planning in there when we get a chance, among other things.
Today's interview was with a private school, Pierce Country Day School in Roslyn. Besides being a beautiful place, it was probably the most relaxed interview I've ever been on, and the guy seemed very impressed with me. Only problems: 1) It's a private school, which means I wouldn't make a lot of money; 2) There are only 3-, 4-and 5-year olds, and the guy said they are phasing the 5-year-old program out, so that's a little younger than I think I'd like; 3) You are with other teachers in the classroom, which in some ways is very helpful, but part of what I want is to run my own classroom and not just follow what someone else has planned.
Ah, so many things to consider. But right now I am keeping my options open. We'll see what happens. If nothing else, this interview was definitely a well-needed confidence booster! At least this year I'm able to work on my job search when the timing's right.
