Watching "The Universe" on the History channel. Did you know that on brown dwarf 'stars', there is weather? The gas ions come together and form clouds, and when particles become big enough they form sand particles that rain down. Sand. Raining on a little star.

Why do they not teach this stuff in schools? I had three weeks of astrophysics this year, and not once did my teacher mention rains of sand on brown dwarfs.

But now we know!

I think I've got some cosmology coming up next year. Yay! I love space stuff.
