Following Angharad's example.
Wildchild: Got a featured role in the school play, "Alice in Wonderland" He is the knave of hearts. Caught up on missed homework due to funeral absence. Currently obsessed with "Lord of the Rings with lightsabers" on youtube.
Husband: Doing well. Grateful to help his mom and be there for the funeral. Wants to host a potluck for the Chinese Engineers that are taking his job.
Faith: 2 prayer meetings this week for the 7 Baha'is on trial in Iran. Need to write to Congressman.
Horses: Fat, lazy, and thinking they are HUGE yard pets. Practice this weekend. Won't they be surprised.
Dogs: Learning to respect the invisible fence. Graf finally willing to go out side with the collar on. Methinks he discovered what the fence can do.
Cats: Always know which is the warmest room in the house. Milestone, both on the same bed at the same time. Pest has definitely lost weight (which is good!). Down to normal cat size, except for the belly flap flopping.
Chickens: Averaging 3-4 eggs a day. Think that Anglelina (sole survivor of 2008 chick massacre) has started laying, small brown eggs.) Nicole still looking straggly and like someone beat her up.
Garden: Still frosted over. Have seeds, need to get starts started. Peas, lettuce, spinach, pole beans, breckfast radishes, parsley, and tomatoes.
Pond: migrating ducks have landed.
House: Got the Wood burning hot tub fired up for the first time this year.
Taxes: DONE and a small refund in the works! OOH RAH, and 2008 papers and bills stuff filed away. Inviting your accountant over for the weekend, really works!
SCA: Entered a few Eq. Authorizations, updated Equestrian Calendar. Writing new articles for Madrone Website. Bummed about Hocktide, but kid's play opens that weekend.
Writing: No progress on screenplay or YJ Paranormal Romance. Working on my 50by50 article list planning. ger_grrl livejournal will host non-equestrian guild articles. Already reposted Mongolian Dairy and Ger article from old Kerij-e's Ger site. Next article is either "The Well Read Equestrian - 10 books every SCA equestrian should read" or "DYI - Mongolian Hat Helmet Cover." Both will eventually be reposted on Madrone Equestrian Guild site.
Work: One spec done, second to go. Need to finish because target keeps moving.
