The sheep are making themselves at home. The dogs have been introduced and are having supervised visits. Moved the sheep into the main yard, and they went straight for the apple tree. Guess they got a taste for fruit bark from their last home. We wrapped the tree in chicken wire and they got the hint. Need to do the same thing for the little trees in the orchard.
Speaking of chickens and chickenwire. Whenever possible, we let the flock out to to run around the yard. They go through the manure pile and investigate the bushes. They especially love to have dust baths at the base of the cedar tree. One of the silly hens got on top of the coop and laid an egg on the roof chicken wire.
Raph and Stuart are putting in our garden (hence the moving the sheep). Stuart and he planted seeds in the window box a few weeks ago and they are all over the place and need to start hardening them off to transplant them.
Oh, and the black and white Mergetzer ducks moved back into the pond. Can't get any good pictures, but they sure are cute.
Got do do some riding this weekend, which was loverly. Not as long and varied as Ornerie, but riding it was.
