WOW, I haven't updated in a while. I tend to have the memory of goldfish, so me not updating should not be a surprise to anyone. Nothing has really transpired since my last entry, or at least I cant think of anything (see, memory of a goldfish). I guess ill start with today, maybe that will get my brain going.
Today was one of those where I did not feel like doing anything. I just hung out at my house for most of the day. An interesting thing actually happened this morning while was making my breakfast. As I put the lendans Onion Bagels in the toaster I heard a MRRR, MRRR noise. Ya, I cant exactly spell the noise since I use spell check when spelling my name. Anyway, I went outside and saw these four military planes circling the area above my house. It really did freak me out because I didn't know if they were US planes or what. Then they flew away and I ended up with a burnt bagel. That was just depressing.
Later on I watched the Yankee game, which was a waste of time. Im a die hard Yankee fan ... whether they went 162-0 or 0-162, im still there to support them. Well, anyway, they lost to Boston again. Someone has to wake up those Yankee bats. Perhaps I should give them a lesson or two. The lesson of course being this is how you aren't supposed to hit the ball since I would have trouble hitting a beach ball with a bat.
I hung out with Goodstadt tonight. Initially we went to the movie theater, where the movie that we were hoping to see (the whole ten yards) was sold out, so we went to friendly's for ice cream. After that we went to starbucks and saw almost everyone from smithtown high school squeezed into a room alittle bigger than my bedroom. IT really is sad how our lives revolve around coffee. Anyway, after that we went bowling and I actually bowled higher than an 18. The first time I bowled a 111, and the followed by an 82 and a 140. I actually got 3 strikes in a row, or a turkey. I think they should give out turkeys when you get a turkey. Ill get started on that right away. Goodstadt bowls like Fred flinstone. He takes 4 baby steps on his toes, then does that bowling speed walk and releasees the bowling bowl. Then there is me who just walks up, throws the ball, and gets in the gutter anyway. So that is what happened tonight.
There are only 7 weeks left of school, and im starting to feel it. You have no idea how much I love the situation that I am in at this moment in time. I love my friends, smithtown high school, this town, the community, and my family. I truly have a wonderful life. And then in 7 weeks we graduate and everyone leaves. Ill still be in smithtown (attending saint Joseph's for those people who don't know. I cant leave this town and my family just yet.), but it wont be the same. Wow, that last week of school is going to be something else. The last everything. The last Monday-Friday, my last chorus concert, the last student council meeting (im such a student council dork). But life is what you make out of it. I really have to thank each and every one of you for making my time at smithtown high school great beyond words. I value all of my friendships very close to my heart. Thank you.
Interestingly enough I was just serious. I have to stop doing that. I'll post soon ... if I can remember that is.
