happy new year all!
i haven't posted in eons...so i guess it's that time....
holidays were fine....fairly tame, even more than a lion, or housecat for that matter.....christmas was boring.....got simpsons season 7...so i have 1, 2, and 7....so that's the complete set right?
New years, i was in great debate about where i should go....there was the popscene thing...lovemakers, etc...and there was dave and monica's....i opted for the city....and do you turn down vroo's orders? you don't want the smack down do you? so there it was.....it was actually a lot bettr than i expected. What i expected was a huge crowd, no room, complete madness. But it wasn't completely packed to the brim, and the bands were good. The back room mash-ups could've begged to be a little better...but for all it was worth, it was good. Better than the last time i went anyway.
oh the christmas season is over...i'm a little sad...although it is still relatively cold, it's just not the same. i love going to downtown all layered up, and walking about with the christmas delights all up...now it's just cold....and no more puppies and kitties in the macy's window...bah
so the new H&M...so i waited and waited for the H&M...oh it's going to be so great to have one...oh it's so cheap, and so cool....omg does it suck...what the hell is that...they have nothing! the clothes suck! and they aren't even super cheap! the clothes are like any run of the mill clothing establishment....even urban is better...and i havn't found anything in urban beside a shirt or two in years....what up with that!
warcraft still tries to take over my life....and it does succeed at it...man....but i'm fighting it!
i did do some productive stuff the past few days...installed new programs, and learned them....learned powerpoint in under an hour...heh....piece of cake
as i was cutting my hair today i realized how much money i've saved cutting it....i've been doing it over a year and almost a half now....mostly every two weeks...i used to do it once a month....but if i doubled that....that's some scrilla! i guess i can justify playing poker...or having a few extra drinks here and there hehe.....and it is fun too..so it's win-win...i always wanted to try to cut hair too...but no chance of that happening...haha i'd need someone with long hair who's gonna chop their hair anyway, and i could cut part of it, so it doesn't matter if i mess up a little heh....
i have started writing more lately, which is definitely a positive. I've come up with some random ideas during conversations that i've actually remembered for once, and turned them into storylines. Hopefully i'll finish a few very soon.
i guess that's enough out of me for now
