(no subject)
so once about every year in a half i bust out an old album that i used to love, or like for that matter, at i did at the time. And well, i guess i had forgotten why i liked that album so much, or possibly it was because of all the new or other cds that were raising their hands for a listen, that put the cd underneath all the others. But when ever i listen to one of those these cds, i always am reminded, at least, about how good, at least, one of the songs are on the album. This time it was Paula Cole's This Fire, and while everyone has tossed her aside into radio hell because of that one song from dawson's creek, having not really listened to the radio, i guess i was unaffected, but i liked the album. And i don't know if i like the whole album as much, i will still defend it and her. Although the album after it sucked, but that's beside the point. Anyway, my favorite song on the album is the first one, and everytime i hear it, i always think of my favorite songs of all time, and how random they can be, and they can be from albums i don't listen to millions and millions of times. So, this brought me here today, for well, if i can list them....my top 10 songs of all time. I will stand by and defend all of them to all comers...but i will note they are MY favorite songs. Not the Best 10 songs of all time, or the greatest songs of all time. They are songs near and dear to me and struck a chord with me...not necessarily anyone else. If you don't like it, well then, you can politely should incenieary remarks, or you just can eat me. =)

hmm after writing this top 10 i can't help but think i'm forgetting a lot of songs...this was all from the top of my head....I'd say the first 6 are definites....but the last 4...hmm....maybe i'll update this later heh...
