Happy Birthday Brad
Yo, a shout out to Brad, my steadily-getting-cooler younger brother. Happy 24th. Man, I can't believe you're not still in high school...but anyways, I'm sure you're doing great in Boston, and things will only get better from here. Just don't come back with the accent, or I will give you a Russian leg sweep at Christmas...
Anyways, yesterday, went in to interview for a part-time position at a Japanese language school advertised on craigslist. I was excited cause it seemed like just the right position for me, but it turns out the position is for teaching 4 year olds, and is only 2 hours a week. Talked to the coordinator, and while everyone was really nice, and the kids were super cute (watched a few other classes going on - reminded me of being back in Kurume), I just don't know about giving up my time every Saturday to make it over to Dublin. I really, really want to keep up my Japanese, but I'm not sure if this is the most effective and useful way to do this.
Came back, and ate some good leftover Thai curry Melissa made 2 nights ago, then watched the Blazers pound the Bulls on national TV. Life is good.
