Truly, Truly I Need Christ
"I do not set aside the grace of God. For if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing" - Galatians 2:21.
We can't get into heaven by our own righteousness (it's not even humanly possible to become righteous without Christ) or by doing good deeds. It is only by Jesus' righteousness and Him dying for our sins that we are saved. Again, I emphasize we are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8). If we are faithful to confess our sins and our need for salvation, then Jesus is faithful and quick to forgive us and cleans us from all wickedness (1 John 1:9).
Christ's sacrifice is there for the taking. Don't let it go to waste. Again, I ask you to really search your heart and be honest with yourselves. If you were to die today, where would you spend eternity?
