War is ....Wet?
Greetings, all! I'm currently holed in Mystic Mail, the cyber cafe at Pennsic. The keyboard on this computer is tiny & the keys are in odd places. The spacebar is tempramental. I wantmy laptop.
It is *pouring* rain. I'm getting flashbacks to last year & the kingdom camped next door to my household that we renamed "Atlantis"because the woke up one morning to find that they'd sunk. By which I mean they were under 2 feet of water. (Our camp was fine. It was weird, but funny.)
Fortunately, my camp's not too far from here so I won't get *too* soaked getting back. As an added bonus, tin & silver don't rust, as I'm currently in "stealth mode"-- I'm in my jingly belly dance gear. (It's been dubbed my "stealth mode" not because it's quiet- it isn't- but because people don't recongnizeme in it. I only do ME garb at Pennsic. At events, I'm Irish).
It hasn't been raining like this the whole time- just for the last half hour or so. The group we're camped with has this *massive* tent for a "living room"-great for parties. :D Whee! Wet day at War still beats a sunny day dealing with a web site. :)
