The Surreality of Life......
Whee!
In one more day, I'll be back down at Pennsic, having lots & lots of fun. I'm sooooo looking forward to it.
One of the secretaries sent me an e-mail from the Chief Big Wig of the School's website. She was complimenting one of the tech & comm folks for training me so well on the new pain in the ass web system because the Grants site turned out so nice. I can picture C. in tech & comm getting it & thinking, "But Sharon didn't do the training- I talked to her for maybe half an hour".
I'm not entirely happy with the site, though. It looks like total crap in FireFox & I have no idea why or how I can fix it so it looks right. May have to spend some quality time with my little bro figuring it out after Pennsic's done.
My family, by the way, is a wonderful collection of complete lunatics. I love them all, if only for their entertainment value. :) My cousin Ethan turned 15 on Tuesday & my aunt threw a big family birthday part for him. I got him a goofy t-shirt that read "Sarcasm- just one more free service I offer" which he thought was great. And my little bro attepted to hang Ethan's little sister- she's 10- from a ceiling fan. By her butt. She shreiks like a bean sidhe, which is why it's so much fun to pick on her. Plus, she's a bit on the spoiled, snotty side so of course we all feel duty-bound to take her down a few pegs. We're big believers in the idea that it's the job of your family to keep your self-esteem at a reasonable level. Too much just makes a person insufferable. :)
