Not Dead Yet

Mom decided not to kill me this time. Turns out that turning the tub purple isn't that upsetting so long as it still works. Who knew?

Meanwhile in my job post, I forgot to mention one of the more amusing weird things that happened. I've recently been learning to fix baby bassinets. Personally, I never knew airplanes had bassinets but it seems that at least some of them do. So, I'm repairing some of them- replacing broken hardware, sewing new carry bags for them, etc.- & one of them has a "Needs Fixed" tag on it. That's not all that unusual, really, except that this one declares that the item it's attached to is food service equipment & has directions addressed to "Caterer". On a bassinet. Guess we know what that mystery meat they've been serving on those in-flight meals really is!

In other absurdities, there was some spam stuck in the door when I got home today. It was for a lawn service. Normally, I'd call such items "junk mail" but there was a decidedly spam-like quality to the hand-written note scrawled on the flyer- "In Tire Yard $45.00". Looks like someone went to the Nigerian Scam Spam School of Spelling & English Grammar. It also declares "I can help you yard!"
