The show is up!
I'm very sore. I'm also very grateful to Rob the Painting Grad. He happened to be just heading into the studio when I was getting ready to deal with the lights. An important part of setting up a show is getting the lights set- bad lighting & you can't really see the work. Plus, in my case I have seven pedestals around the room & nothing on the walls, which is where all the lights were pointing. Rob saved me running up & down the ladder twenty bazillion times checking the lights every time I adjusted one. Took us about 20 minutes, tops. :)
Yay. Now I can relax a little.
Oh, bonus bit of good news. Found out my Uncle George & his wife will be up for the opening. George is my Dad's older brother. Having him there will make it seem like Dad's there.
