the Toledo opening has been pushed back a week, so i'm not leaving for another two weeks (rather than next monday). kinda good, since i wasn't able to pick up the car and take care of the necessary paperwork and repairs today. instead i'll deal with that next monday...hmm, it's the fourth of July next monday. wonder if AAA is open.

ever have such a lucid dream that after you wake up you aren't quite sure of who and where you are? had this happen to me last Saturday and really freaked me out. i'm not sure which is worse though, having that kind of dream or one where "Like a Prayer" is the background music and having it stuck in your head endlessly.
just plain bizarre.

it's hot, muggy weather, reminds me of South Carolina. unfortunately there's no beach within 500 miles.
