so i got my six month review about a week and a half ago, apparently the first of three that were going to be done, and it was good. it was glowing. radiating, in fact, since one of the few things they could find fault with was my shoes (i've got them on order, something i said when this review was being written.) i've been promised since January, going back three chefs now, that i would be getting X raise.
how would you feel if you end up getting told that, "Oh, we're sorry, but X isn't going to happen. You're going to get 33% of X taken away because we have to have everything approved by corporate, and that's something that's out of our hands."
i like working for this company, they're good, they know where they're going, and they've got a good business strategy. what annoys me to no end is that they are continually saying one thing and doing another. i stopped going to church because of hypocrisy, don't make me start hating work because of the same thing.
