Thanksgiving weekend rocked my pants off! It was just great being home and seeing best and close friends and family. Thought I would recap the weekend for all those who care (yes I know I'm a bit delayed on the lj entry)
Wednesday: My parents after finally getting off I-5 came and picked me up, meaning I had a lot of time to clean up my dorm so I could come back to a clean (and very cold) dorm. Saw my dog and I just burst out in tears and hugged her. I can't wait until I can spend more time with her over winter break.
Thursday: Real food! Mom made the best dinner and it was awesome because I got to see my grandfather (9 weeks is a long time to not see him when he's used to seeing me every week) It was so great to talk to him and see how proud he is that I'm in college. Thursday night was spent with Julia, Kate, and Claire as we ventured over to Denny's and then over to Julia's to watch Mission Impossible 2. I DID NOT SKIN GINGER TO MAKE PART OF MY WHITE JACKET!!
Friday: Pizza at Roundtable with the rest of the gang that I hadn't seen in a hell of a long time. I especially missed Fanster and it was great seeing her. Can't remember what I did Friday night so if any of you hung out with me, post a comment so that I can jog my memory. Wait..just kidding I saw Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason with both my parents. It was great to get some quality time in with them as well because you know I would have felt guilty not seeing my parents over the break. :-)
Saturday: LLAMA PARTY!! That was the most kickass. THANKS ALANNA!! Curry in a Hurry was delicious and it reminds me how much I miss Thai food, especially cheaper Thai food then they have here in Eugene. Mario Kart followed later on. I TOOK THE SCENIC ROUTE IN THE DESERT!!! And I did win one game and I did not place last in all of them, so HA!
Sunday: Came back here to the dorm. Very uneventful. Not nearly as fun as being home with my bestest friends and family. :-( Oh well 8 days until I'm back home again so I can't complain. Looking forward to seeing you in Salem Kate!
Dead Week is here. If I'm not available it's because I have finals in a week and I'm starting to stress. I'll try not to ignore you all, but yeah shall be hard. Weekend shall be spent watching/participating in Kendo and studying (can't cram anymore like I could in high school)
