And secondly, don't even begin to mention OHIO in your journal entry. It is quite simply not the voters fault! I could give you plenty of websites that will give you ample proof that it is not their fault. Simply, the majority of the blame can be placed on Ohio's Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell. This Republican's goal was to skew the election towards President Bush. He accomplished this in many ways, mainly by changing provisional voting rules (making it harder for people to cast a ballot). He also banned the media from entering the polling locations - thereby not allowing the media to monitor for voting discrepancies? Have you ever heard of profiling? Would you believe that this would be supported...?
So, in short, it is not the voters fault that John Kerry didn't win, it is the Republicans that are involved in the government at all levels.
Isn't it weird that exit polls (Ask someone as they are leaving a polling place who they voted for) indicated that John Kerry was supposed to win?
