Running around like a chicken with it's head cut off
I wanted to do one more update before I left home. Here it is. Thursday I leave for UO. Life=chaotic. I am literally living in chaos. I got up a couple days ago and tripped over an IKEA bag. Needless to say, there is a lot going on around here.
In the interest of time, I'll give a quick run-down on the last 2 weeks.
Friday September 10: Went to go visit Kate at Willamette for a birthday surprise! Jewels and I met Debbie. DEBBIE!!! Willamette is pretty quiet and very pristine.
September 11-12: Julia (and the general Barrett family) was nice enough to take me up to Seattle for a Mariners game vs. Boston Red Sox. SOX CREAMED THE M'S 9-0!! BOOYA!! Hottest player for me was Gabe Kapler. Sizzle! Cathy did provide great amusement with her mini fridge dilemma and all the "excess" noise in the room. I also got a chance to bond with WANDA!!! And then there was this bible in the room.....
This week: Tuesday & Saturday I babysat. Nothing too interesting. The little kids will miss me though. Awwww..... Sunday I did Race for the Cure. Gracias to the Roth family for getting me there. Chris does too much for me. Monday I went from a dentist appointment to Bed Bath & Beyond to Target. Pussy's trunk was filled to the brim with dorm items....bad imagery
Today: Took care of some stuff at the bank (Kaylie's getting some plastic soon...like totally! j/k) and then said goodbye to my grandfather. THAT was hard! All day he had been talking to people about how his granddaughter was going to college and how proud he was of me. It's one of those moments that brings tears to your eyes.....
Wednesday: Packing, packing, and more packing. I plan on taking Ginger for one last trip around the neighborhood. I always cry when I leave her at the vet, so this is going to be terrible......
