that sucks...glad everything is ok...

when stuff like that happens...i dont blame the dog...i blame the owners. i have a pit/lab mix...and the only time she acts like a pit is when she feels I am in danger.

when i take Sadie to the mall for pics all the little gangsters always stare at her cause she looks like a pit...THAT pisses me off. THEY make it hard for the rest of us to own pits.

anyways. sorry you had such a bad experience.

huggles!

yea, i have mixed emotions on it i guess. when you see it on the news i blame the owners. see it happen right in front of you, it kind of goes to the dog, then the owners. from what i hear they are, or can be good dogs. you just hear about the ones that are bad more. but thats the way everything goes

I love all breeds, the only one I am afraid of is Pit. They have a very intimidating presence and I have seen a friend be attacked by one before, that done did it for me.
I do think the owners have alot to do with it, but aggression is inherent to the breed. Though a good owner will take the time to raise the dog non-aggressive.

thats what i think. you can train a dog to be pretty much how you want it to be. but any of them can just go crazy at any time. just like people
