I LOVE the Flamingo. It is decently priced MOST of the time. We are in the process of completely remodeling all of our rooms, so odds are that you will get a great room. Also, if you are feeling fiesty, if you end up staying at the Flamingo, ask about getting a room with a view of Bellagio. My inlaws stayed in a room with a view & they had the best seats to watch the Bellagio fountains.
We are pretty much dead center on the Strip. There is TONS to do within walking distance of our property. Food wise, lots of options. O'Sheas Casino is our sister property (right next door) and there are places like Subway, Burger King, etc. However, if you want some really nice dining, in the Flamingo we have a new Italian restaurant that is freaking great (Voga)! We also have a great steakhouse (Steakhouse 46). We do have the traditional buffet (which I don't like the dinner one because it has seafood on it) and cafe (which has great wraps).
Gambling wise: We have the hottest Blazing 7's on the strip. We also have one of the lowest hold precentages (so your money "should" go further). We are tied into Harrah's with the Total Rewards program. So, if you decide to play, make sure it is center strip with your card. Harrah's is BIG time into sending free room offers to players! The casino atmosphere is nice. It's a really nice property to be on & be comfortable. Our staff is outstanding & I wish I could brag enough about them.
