Then he finally meets Alex, the father of George, the young boy with the monster problems.
The Doctor meets George, who wonders if the Doctor has come to take him away.
The Doctor impresses George with his sonic screwdriver.
The Doctor and Alex try to figure out how to help George overcome his fears before realising where the monsters really are.
A frightened George sends both the Doctor and Alex into the doll's house.
The Doctor gets Alex to accept that George is an alien, therby freeing everyone trapped within the dollhouse.
